Spirit Draper is the reason we all are here

Spirit was diagnosed with a small percentage of hearing loss in 2011 that was at the age of 1

By the age of 4, she was deaf.

Spirit is the inspiration to Spirit's Heart

At the age of 13, Spirit is home-schooled and a Volunteer as a teacher's assistant and teaches sign language. 

Spirit is closing the gap between the deaf and hearing community where children can learn and explore.

Angela  is an Innovative Coordinator with professional experience in high-volume business operations. 

Angela was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. She relocated to San Antonio, Texas in 2014 to fulfil her vision. 

2012 Graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor's Degree in Entrepreneurship. 2015 graduated from Fontbonne University with a Master's Degree in Management.

Spirits Heart started in my heart when I  struggled with childcare while trying to get  her degrees and when I learned my daughter was losing her hearing. Since then I devoted myself to helping parents struggling with childcare and special needs children.

Angela been in childcare since 2010

Angela plans for the future,  is to have a Franchise called Spirits Heart Care Group International.

I have authority to work with people from different social backgrounds and I am able to handle various task simultaneously. I believe in Greater Service Greater Progress. 

Veronica is a native from Toledo, Ohio

Veronica attended University of Toledo, she received two certification one in Medical Office Specialist and the other in Medical Billing and Coding. 

She is married, and have 3 children and 8 grandchildren

Veronica has 15 years in Human Resource, as this is where she started her journey with Spirits Heart Childcare. She moved from human resource to an directors role in 2019

Veronica has been in Childcare since 2010 where she had an in home childcare center. She opened this home care center to care for her first granddaughter which happens to be our Spirit

 Music Instructor

Western Vocals, Western Violin, Keyboard & Guitar

 Victor is a passionate Music Instructor and a Vocalist who has over 10 years’ experience. Taught in Dubai, UAE, Nigeria and the UK. He is very popular among our student community. Being a talented artist, he looks forward to helping others discover their hidden potential in music and making the best out of it. His hobbies include singing, dancing, and traveling. He is a specialist western vocal and violin trainer, coach, and mentor. 

Carmen Singleton, is native to killeen but was raised in san antonio, she has 19 years of experience in child care, Ms. Carmen brings with her much experience. She has her CDA Child Development Associate for 19 years . She has worked with Head Start, Autistic children also Respite care, just to name a few. Ms Carmen is a mother of 2; and she enjoys her time reading books and by watching criminal and cooking shows. 

Future plans to open her own center.

Elisie Gutierrez  is a native from San Antonio, Texas . Faith - driven woman, devoted mother, growing with purposr and passion for nuturing children. Guided by faith - led woman and proud mother,dedicated to growth , purpose, and caring for children with love , strengthened by life's journey, faith and lifelong learner passionate about growth and uplift children. Hobbies  are to explore and learn new things whenever the opportunity arises.

Alonzo Hurt, was born in Okinawa, Japan 

He moved to San Antonio in 1989. 

Alonzo is owner of 210 Speed for young track runners for 19 years

Alonso has 20 plus years of experience with child development.

he has been apart of Spirits Heart Child care for 2 years.

Alonzo is a Residential treatment/juvenile detention officer for Bexar county

. 

He enjoys his time by coaching track, traveling , and watching sports

Angela Hartwell is an amazing and dedicated childcare professional; committed to providng a safe, nuturing, and engaging environment for children . With hands on expereince across multiple classroom settings including infant, toddler, and preschool groups. She brings flexibility ,patience and a genuine passion for early childhood development. Angela is known for  her reliability , teamwork and the ability to build strong relationships with both children and families. Her focus is on supporting each child's growth , learning and well- being while contributing positively to the overall success of the center.
